Recent washes
How it goes, and what else we can do
A wash is the glass. These are the steps, then the extras if the house needs more.

We look first
Panel count, how dirty the glass is, and whether anything is living under the array.

We wash the glass
Dust, pollen, ash, and droppings on top come off. The pressure is for dirt, not for the seals.

A deionized rinse
The water dries without spots. No soap left on the panels, and nothing abrasive on the glass.

You can see it
Before and after on the array. When the inverter will show it, a wattage reading too. A normal home is two to three hours.
Under
Lift and clean underneath
Pigeon droppings land on the roof under the array, so a wash never touches them. We unclip the panel, lift it, clear the mess, and set it back. Priced after we see how many have to come up.

Critter guards
Mesh on the open edges so pigeons and squirrels cannot nest under the array again. Air still moves.

Roof and windows
Same stop as the solar, if you want the rest of the house done while we are already there.

Remove and replace
New roof coming? We take the array off, keep it at the house, and put the same layout back when the roofers are done.
